Artist's Description
I was going through some pictures I took last summer! I saw this one, I call him Big Daddy. My dog, Kiana and I spent over an hour with him. I could feel he was not threatened by us, but I never take anything for granted! I had an escape route, if needed! One thing I have learned living in the mountains, wild animals need their space, respect and always remember they are wild. Thank goodness for a zoom lens. I hope to see Big Daddy and his family this Spring. I hope they had a safe winter, I know it has been a long one. Photographed in Silverthorne, Colorado
