It was a fun day for me. It had been a while since I had an opportunity to get out with my camera and I knew this day I was not going to miss. It was wonderful to get close to many horses this day. I was in my glory. Two beautiful, strong, powerful horses I had a chance to photograph. I wonder what they were thinking!

Wonderful capture Fiona!!! There is something very special about a horse's eyes. I have a friend who is a horse trainer and I am intrigued by the things he tells me about horses and how we can connect with them. The eyes tell so much. I have some horse photos you might like to look at. I love the composition in your photo and the calmness the two horses portrait. They look deep in thought.
